All right folks, if you want to read more on the polar bear article, here is an article from the South Coast Daily that is rather interesting and not long.
Your official homework is to read this article, which is long.
In the course of reading, you may find that you want to comment on a paragraph. If so, click on the callout icon next to paragraph that looks like this and it will allow you to leave a comment. You can even reply to other's comments as well. Remember that comments should be school appropriate.
Are we supposed to leave comments as our assignment, or is that something we do just if we want to?
ReplyDeleteIt will be an assignment, but I expect some students to have technical difficulty or have trouble because they don't really read the directions or have trouble just because they have trouble with technical stuff the first time. I'd like people to try it, but it is optional as I didn't demonstrate it in class.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, if you comment, it won't show up the first time you do so on that site until I approve it. Don't worry. I will do so. You don't have to post multiple times.
ReplyDeleteI tried to post something but it didn't show up. I also don't get what you mean above.
ReplyDeleteIt means comments are moderated so that SPAM doesn't show up on the page. Therefore, the first time someone comments, it sits awaiting moderation until the site admin (me) views and approves it. Thereafter, the person using that login may post comments that avoid moderation and appear immediately on the site. If you were to look now, your comment is there.
ReplyDeleteXD I couldn't multitask well enough to real the article and make comments at the same time. I guess this is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteHey Giddings I can't remember if you said that we need the report in MLA format or not. And do we need some sort of Title page if not?
ReplyDeleteBrian, you're blogging it. No, it doesn't need to be in MLA style or have a title page. It will be on your blog. I needn't be double spaced. Just type it like a normal blog with paragraphs, introduction and conclusion.
