You want me to think about what?!
After witnessing the depth of confusion in class today, I'm pushing tonight's homework back. Though it was reading that I believe you'd find deeply amusing, I think you probably need to conserve neurons for the current assignment. Use the time well. If your brain is trying to convince you that you don't have to work on this until tomorrow, your brain is betraying you, perhaps because it's afraid you will discover how it's been manipulating you all these years.

hey..just curious but does this essay need to be more of a narrative essay? Or should we talk about the subject more in general and use examples of our ways of thinking? By how you explained it on the blog it sounded like it was from our point of view..Also are you absolutely positive wednesday is the perfect day for turning in this monstrosity?????
ReplyDelete(I just wanted to use that word =]] )
You could arrange it successfully as a narrative with strong analytical reflections or as an analysis with supporting narrative anecdotes. Depending on how you go about it, you could use a number of different approaches. In second period, I used a compare/contrast arrangement to try and make things a bit clearer for them when discussing the paper (they were just dead and confused today, so I ended up talking more than in first). I can see a number of arrangements you could use well. They key is to make sure you are using your examples to illustrate your analysis and not just telling stories without explaining their significance.
ReplyDeleteis the paper due wednesday at school or in the evening? I think in the evening would be the best choice.
ReplyDeleteOf course you do! Let's say Wednesday by noon, high noon...
